A very beautiful small town in Wayne County, Walworth, NY is also not very far away from Rochester. A recent census indicates a population of approximately 10,000 people for Walworth in Wayne County, New York, United States. The town is named after Reuben Walworth, a state official.
Walworth was first settled in 1799 when four brothers named Andrew, John, Samuel, and Daniel left the Connecticut area and made their way west. They built primitive log cabins, the first residential structures in Walworth, where they became the first settlers.
The area of the town is 33.9 square miles (88 km2), of which 33.8 square miles (88 km2) is covered in fixed land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) by water. This data was collected from the United States Census Bureau.
